The Perfect Guest Bed
Looking for the perfect guest room solution?
Most of us purchase a home, and have visions of holidays where we have great get togethers and people staying over. One of the things on our radar is usually a guest room. It’s not until after moving into a space that we realize, we really only use a guest room a few times per year.
The new trend is to utilize that space for something else, but, to be able to create a portable guest room when you need it that your guest will be comfortable in. That all starts with the bed. You want one that’s easy to take up and down, but, is comfortable and feels luxurious too. Here are a few of our favorites.

Budget Option:
This one has a lot of bang for it’s buck. It’s the least expensive of the three. Great option if you have younger guests or are looking to stage your house. This mattress sits a little lower than a standard mattress and has a soft top that doesn’t feel as “rubbery” as blow up mattresses. It blows up in just a few minutes and stays full of air until you release it. I’ve had mine for three years and have never had any trouble with it leaking.
Inflatable with Legs
This next one is a little more expensive than the budget option at just over $300. The upgrade is that it has legs and sits about as high as a regular bed. You can also skirt the bottom and create a more luxe look for your guest. When dressed, it doesn’t look like a temporary option which could make for a longer stay. (That can be a good or a bad thing).
The Murphy Cabinet Bed
This is the priciest option but definitely worth it if you have the budget for it. Unlike traditional murphy beds that need and entire wall, this one is folded into a furniture console that fits in with your home decor. A comfortable foam mattress unfolds from it as well as a bed base from below. The price is quite a bit more but it is a more permanent option than the blow up beds, and if you compare it to the cost of an extra room, there’s no comparison. It comes in lots of different finishes and colors. The gray just happens to be our favorite.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
